Kurt finds fellow race driver, Rusty Gallegar, dead in his garage, stuffed under a workbench. Who could have done this? It turns out that Rusty has a little trouble keeping himself away from women, both the ones that are fans and the ones that "need help." Rusty offers them "discount" services at his auto repair shop in exchange for a romp on a very comfortable sofa in his office.
Which one did Rusty in? Kurt's friend Mutt, a sports reporter at the local newspaper, convinces Kurt he needs to be involved in solving this crime, since he did so well last year in Masonville. Kurt's innate sense of people leads him to the truth, along with a surprising twist. Trek along with Kurt as he tries to find out what happened to Rusty.
